We are very excited to be involved in the restoration of the historical Kelly Ramsey Building in downtown Edmonton. This structure is an important piece of the downtown core and the masonry component of the facade has been designated to be historically significant.
Our work consists of the selective demolition, categorizing, palletizing, storage and re-installation of the brick and metal cornice on the Kelly building and the Indiana Limestone on the Ramsey building. From the outset of the project we have been working with Ledcor Construction (General Contractor), Lorne Simpson (Historical Consultant), and Robert Geldhardt (City of Edmonton) to ensure our work is being conducted to the standards that are expected. This is a very unique project and we are proud to be contributing in preserving the historical elements of the building.
